De visie van professionals in de gezondheidszorg op lichaamsbeweging voor patiënten die immuuncheckpointremmer-immunotherapie voor kanker krijgen
You are invited to take part in a research study that aims to investigate the perceptions and clinical practice patterns of health care professionals in relation to exercise for patients receiving immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) immunotherapy for cancer.
Evidence on the role of exercise in the management of cancer and its treatment-related side effects is evolving rapidly. In parallel, new cancer treatments are emerging, such as immunotherapies, posing new challenges and side-effects, such as immune-related adverse events.

We are asking professionals involved in the treatment or management of people with cancer receiving ICI immunotherapy to share their perceptions of exercise for this population, in an online survey. The results of this study will be used to inform future exercise oncology research and education.
Who can participate?
Professionals who are currently, or have previously been, involved in the treatment and/or management of people with cancer receiving ICI immunotherapy can participate in this study. You can participate in this study if you are one of the following professionals:
- Medical oncologists
- Cancer nurses
Any other professional involved in cancer care (e.g. dermatologists, endocrinologists, exercise physiologists, pharmacists)
What does participation in this study involve?
Participation involves the completion of an online survey (REDCap) that will take approximately 10 minutes. The survey does not ask you for details such as your name, employer, or contact information. The questions in the survey will ask about your demographics, your perceptions and knowledge of exercise for patients receiving ICI immunotherapy, as well as your clinical practice patterns, confidence and barriers in relation to providing exercise recommendations and referrals for this population. Your participation is voluntary. For more information, please refer to the Participant Information Letter.
How do I participate?
